How do I play?

The numbers next to each row and above each column tell you how many filled squares are in that line, in order. "3 1" means a run of three filled squares, at least one empty square, then one more. Fill squares you're sure of, and mark squares you know are empty with a cross. You can replay the tutorial in Settings › How to play.

Is every puzzle solvable without guessing?

Yes. Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can always find the next square by looking at a single row or column.

How do hints work?

A hint marks the next square logic can prove and highlights the row or column that proves it. You start with 3 hints; you can watch a short video for 3 more, and if no video is available you get one free hint a day. Gridlings Plus gives unlimited hints.

What happens when I make a mistake?

Every square is checked as you mark it. A wrong square turns red, shows the right answer, and costs a heart. You have 3 hearts per puzzle. If you run out, watch a short video for one more heart, or restart the puzzle. Gridlings Plus removes the limit.

Can I play the Plus packs without buying Plus?

Yes. Open any pack and tap a locked puzzle: watch a short video and that puzzle is yours to keep. Gridlings Plus unlocks every puzzle at once.

How does the streak work?

Solve the Daily Gridling on a day to keep your streak going. A streak freeze covers one missed day automatically; you earn one every 7 days in a row.

I bought Gridlings Plus but packs are still locked

Open Settings in the game and tap "Restore purchases" while signed in to the same Apple Account you used to buy it.

My progress is gone

Progress is saved only on your iPhone, so deleting the app deletes it. Times you posted to Game Center stay on the leaderboards.
